The Thies Clima company supplies sensors for the measurement of wind, temperature, humidity, air pressure, precipitation, and radiation. Many of the these products meet the requirements of the WMO, and national and international guidelines. For example, the wind sensors First Class are classified acc. to IEC 61400-12-1, and comply with highest expectations. A calibration acc. to DAKKS, DKD, and MEASNET can be offered, as well, for most of the products.

For the precipitation acquisition there are sensors available with different measuring methods. The product line ranges from capacitive measurement to tipping bucket systems up to optical procedures by means of laser and three-dimensional image evaluation.
